Nooktune

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

The service is provided by Interlib Dev LLC

This policy explains what data Nooktune (the browser extension and service) collects, why, and how you can control it.

1.What we collect

Account data: your email address, name and avatar link — from your Google account when you sign in with Google, or just your email when you sign in with a code.

Your music library: favorites, playlists and listening history — track title, artist, duration, a link to the track page and to the audio file.

App settings: language, theme, autoplay.

Technical data: IP address and request times in server logs — to prevent abuse and rate-limit requests.

2.How we use it

To let you sign in and use your library on any device.

To play music and show your listening history.

To keep the service secure and stable.

We don't sell data, show ads or use third-party analytics.

3.Google user data

When you sign in with Google we receive only your email, name and avatar (openid, email and profile scopes). We have no access to your mail, contacts, files or other Google data.

Nooktune's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4.What's stored in your browser

The extension keeps sign-in tokens, profile data, the current playback queue and volume in browser storage. This data stays on your device except for requests to our server.

Your browser may keep downloaded audio in its cache — that cache is managed by the browser itself.

5.Where data is stored

Data is stored on our hosting provider's servers. Only the service developer has access to it.

All data is transferred over a secure connection (HTTPS).

6.Retention and deletion

We keep your data as long as your account exists. You can clear your listening history in the app.

To delete your account and all data, email support from the address linked to your account. We'll delete it within 30 days.

7.Children

The service isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

8.Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the latest change is shown at the top. We'll notify you of material changes in the extension or by email.
